1. One-Trip (New) Units

The Gold Standard

These are the highest-quality containers available in North America. Manufactured overseas, they carry one load of cargo to the US before being sold.

• Appearance: Near-flawless. Original factory paint, minimal to no scratches, and no rust.

• Floors: Clean, pristine marine-grade plywood.

• Best For: Modular homes, high-end office conversions, or residential storage where aesthetics are the top priority.

2. Cargo Worthy (CW)

The Reliable Workhorse

These units are “retired” from international shipping but are still structurally sound enough to be recertified for sea travel.

• Appearance: Expect “character.” This includes surface rust, various dents, and previous shipping line logos/patches.

• Floors: Solid, though they may show signs of previous use (scuffs or stains).

• Best For: International shipping, heavy equipment storage, and business inventory.

3. Wind & Water Tight (WWT)

The Budget-Friendly Champion

WWT containers are no longer certified for sea travel but are perfect for stationary storage. They are the most popular choice for general storage needs.

• Appearance: Significant surface rust and noticeable dents. The paint will be weathered.

• Floors: Fully functional but will show heavy wear.

• Best For: Backyard storage, job-site tool sheds, and farm use.

4. “As-Is” Units

The DIY Special

These containers have been taken out of service due to damage or excessive age.

• Appearance: Heavy rust, possible holes, or damaged floors/doors.

• Best For: Fencing, scrap metal, or builders who plan on extensive welding and refurbishment.

• Note: These are sold without our standard leak-free guarantee.
