At Sprint Box Containers, we don’t just sell you a box; we manage the heavy-lift logistics of getting it to your exact location. Our delivery team specializes in precision placement and rapid turnaround.

1. Delivery Methods

We offer two primary ways to get your container on-site:

• Tilt-Bed (Ground Delivery): Our most popular option for residential and storage customers. The trailer tilts back, and the container slides off the rear as the truck pulls forward. No crane or forklift required.

• Flatbed / Step-Deck: Ideal for customers who have a crane or heavy-duty forklift on-site to lift the container off the truck. This is often a more cost-effective shipping rate for B2B or bulk orders.

2. The Delivery Checklist (Pre-Arrival)

To ensure a “Sprint” delivery without delays, please verify your site meets these requirements:

• Overhead Clearance: We require 14ft to 16ft of vertical clearance. Please watch for low-hanging tree branches, power lines, or building overhangs.

• Width Clearance: The truck needs a minimum of 12ft of width to maneuver through gates or driveways.

• The “Runway” Space: * For a 20ft Container: You need 60ft of straight-line space.

  • For a 40ft Container: You need 120ft of straight-line space.

• Surface Condition: The ground must be level and firm. We deliver on Concrete, Asphalt, or compacted Gravel. * Note: If delivery is on grass or dirt, it must be bone-dry. Our trucks weigh up to 40,000 lbs and will sink in soft soil.

3. Door Orientation: “Doors In” or “Doors Out”?

This is a critical step in the Sprint Box process. Because the container slides off the back of the truck, we need to know how to load it at the depot:

• Doors Facing the Cab: The doors will be the last part off the truck (facing the truck as it pulls away).

• Doors Facing the Rear: The doors will be the first part off the truck (facing away from the truck).

4. Shipping Rates & Areas

We provide transparent, mileage-based shipping rates from our nearest depot to your zip code.

• Local Deliveries: Typically dispatched within 3–5 business days.

• Long-Haul: We provide nationwide shipping across the continental U.S.

• Tracking: You will receive a call from our dispatch team 24 hours before arrival and a “heads up” call from the driver when they are 30 minutes away.

🛡️ Delivery Security & Payment

As part of our fraud prevention policy, shipping fees must be paid in full as part of your initial secure invoice via Bank Wire or Credit Card.

• Our drivers cannot accept cash, Zelle, or CashApp payments on-site.

• Please ensure an authorized adult is present to sign the delivery manifest and inspect the unit.

Frequently Asked Delivery Questions

Do I need a permit? Every city has different rules for container placement. We recommend checking with your local HOA or city planning office before the truck arrives.

What happens if the truck gets stuck? If the driver determines the ground is too soft or the space is too tight to safely deliver, a “Dry Run” fee may apply. We do our best to avoid this by reviewing your site photos in advance!
